One step at a time. This past week has been huge for my manuscript. My editor completed her task and the revisions and corrections have been made. English class was a loooonnngggg time ago for this girl so I needed some help with my commas, quotation marks and other punctuation. This week is a trip to Oregon to discuss illustrations with a potential artist. I have two first grade teachers reading through the manuscript for suggestions and appropriate age clarification. The second grade teacher who read through it gave the content a thumbs up for her student’s curriculum.
I will start blogging about finding a publisher vs self-publishing in the near future. Still on the fence about writing your own book? Believe me when I say, “Just write the first sentence.” And then hang on and enjoy the ride!
