“Dewdrops to Raindrops” work continues

“Dewdrops to Raindrops” update: Good day! My illustrator and book cover consultant are hard at work collaborating on a killer book cover for my first in a series children’s book, “Dewdrops to Raindrops.” Once we have the final decision made, the book will be laid out by my consultant and made publishing ready. For teachers, grades K-2, I am compiling my ideas for companion curriculum to go with the book. All will be created with Minnesota Standards as a guide as well as K-2 teachers who have agreed to review and critique the curriculum.  Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas with me as to what teaching aids work well in your classroom for English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and learning Social Skills. Email me at dmj@dmjohnsonauthor.net with your thoughts, suggestions and ideas.

The focus next month of this blog will be areas in which one can gather inspiration for writing a story, poem, journaling, or just something that is inside of you begging to be penned. Until next time, just write the first sentence!
